As a basic guideline, the first two-thirds of your review should summarize the author’s main ideas and the final third should evaluate the book. The written review that you hand in should include the following:

-your evaluation of the book, including how well it has achieved its purpose, what the book contributes to discussion of the topic, what the book omits, what specific points are not convincing, and what your personal experience is in relation to the topic
conclusion that ties together your review and provides a concise summary comment on the book
