Description
The title of the book is " Between the world and me" by Ta- Nehisi Coates. Rhetorical analysis has to be done on part 2 of the book. There you can choose any quotes or arguments that better interest you and have more knowledge on.
The purpose of these essays is to engage what is commonly called a "close reading" of a small bit of written text. In other words, carefully perform a structural analysis of the diction and purpose of a written argument, arguing that the text is/is not persuasive in its use of X, Y, Z. More or less explain your analyses in 5-7 page double- spaced type essays to an audience whom you will assume has not read the text that you are analyzing.
Terms and Concepts from "Elements of Argument " should be used to be more clear and exact when explaining the authors methods.
