Keeping in mind the information provided to you in the Introduction Module about these Writing Assignments, please complete the following question. 

As with all drop box assignments, you must submit the assignment as an attachment.  The attachment must in the format of a doc, docx or rtf.

View current events that are less then 8 weeks old.  From the last eight weeks, please find a current event that involves an ethical issue involving a public official. 

1.  Briefly describe and explain the situation.

2.  Identify the ethical dilemma.  (This will be phrased as a question…  Is it right that….  It is ethical that…. etc.)

3.  What did the public official do in light of his or her situation?

4.  Do you think they reacted in a good or ethical manner?  If yes, please explain why.

5.  Or should they have done something differently?  If so, please explain what you believe the public official should have done and why.
