Try to answer my own question on the book – Charles Darwin Evolutionary Writings including the autobiographies- by James A. Secord. oxford worlds classic2. REMEMBER: this is NOT a research paper, in which I would expect you to consult numerous secondary sources. Rather, I want the paper to be an opportunity for each of you to pursue further any question which the readings in the Darwin book raise for you. By “further” here I mean that your question COULD be answered ONLY on the basis of the readings in the text, BUT IF you want to pursue further reading in Darwin’s writings (for example, chapters of the Origin or the Descent of Man not included in Secord’s anthology, some of his letters, etc.), then by all means do so if you have time. What I want to find out in these papers is how well you have understood what Darwin wrote.
3. If you quote directly from the Secord book, then you need only put the page number of the quoted matter in parentheses behind the quotation itself. E.G. “……………………….” (129)
4. BUT IT you quote from ANY OTHER SOURCE than the required text in the course, then you must document that quotation fully according to standard MLA protocols AND you must include a bibliography, also in standard MLA protocols.
-My question on Charles Darwin is when did he finally decide for himself that there is no need for God for the advancement of life.
