The student will select a topic/subject and develop a project related to the topic. The student will:
ASSESS the need to further investigate the topic related to current dental hygiene oral health concepts. The assessment part will determine if there is a need to address/recognize the topic in oral health care.
If so, why?
PLAN the project to include the; who, what, where when and how of the project along with the target/s populations. The plan should be in enough detail that he plan could be easily understood and/or replicated by another oral health care provider.
IMPLEMENT the project in a hypothetical setting. What happened, who was involved, what are the findings/outcomes?
EVALUATE the project. How would the outcomes make a difference to the project population or participants? What would you change if the project was implemented again? What did the population and you learn from the project?
