course’s Textbook: Rothaermel, “Strategic Management”, 3rd International edition.
Prepare a Presentation (max 25 PowerPoint slides) for Alphabet Inc. in which you include the following
elements:
1. External analysis (Porter; PEST)
2. Internal analysis (e.g., VRIO)
3. Answers the Case Questions reported at the end of the case
4. Strategic Recommendations
Please notice that the Case Questions are four and they are reported at p.483 of the 3rd International Edition (in general, at the end of the case). The full title of this Mini-Case in the Textbook is: “A” is for Alphabet and “G” is for Google: Alphabet’s Corporate Strategy and Google’s Strategy Process.
Please respect the 25 slides limit. Your slides can be denser of text, especially when you are dealing with the four Discussion Questions. This is because there is no oral presentation and therefore you can write more text in the slides to answer the case questions.
