Finance-Reflective Report

Reflective Report

INTRODUCTION In this assessment, you reflect on and critically analyse the development of your teamwork and collaboration skills as a result of being part of the industry-linked project.
DESCRIPTION Your reflective report will use the Kolb reflective model as a framework for your critical analysis. The Kolb model requires you to evidence and reference your thinking. The stages of the Kolb model are:
Stage 1 – Concrete Experience – Identify and reflect upon an experience which directly impacted the development of your teamwork and collaboration skills. Describe that experience.
Stage 2 – Reflective Observation – View the concrete experience described In Stage 1 from the viewpoint of others who were involved or impacted.
Stage 3 – Abstract conceptualisation – View stage 1 and 2 through a theoretical lens to help you to define and explain what happened. Be explicit about where, how, why and what has influenced and changed your thinking. Unpack or challenge the concrete experience by drawing on your reflective observation and your chosen framework (theory) to analyse and critique your experience.
Guidance on the different between descriptive and critical analysis can be found at https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/studentservices/documents/description-vs-analysis—learnhigher.pdf.
