Exclusion of the Disabled People
Introduction
Under the diverse management there are different kinds of the culture in the organisation. The management is composed of the various people of different society.
There are different types of the people and belong to different caste and the religion having variety of the ideas and thoughts
The corporate culture evolves around the globe and the has similar measures subject to parity (John, 2014).
The exclusion of the employees from the organisation depicts the negative impact on the work culture of the organisation.
According to the law of the disability act the company cannot exclude the people from the organisation just on the basis of the physical disability.
Scenario
In many organisations the people who are disabled are excluded just on the basis of the physical unfit criteria. The criteria is too small to fit any person in the organisation despite having the relevant qualifications.
They are not given chance to prove themselves on the basis of the talent they possess and are disregarded due to being amputees or one leg people (Liberman, 2017).
Moreover the other individuals also build the same perception for the people who are disabled. They side line them and generally do not prefer to talk to them because of the set mindset.
Effect on the Disabled employees
The people are morally down and they do not feel committed towards the organisation.
A sense of disregard and disrespect among the employees will create a fear of not being compatible for the work (Maciaszczyk and Maciaszczyk, 2016).
The exclusion of the disabled employees even related to the severe disabilities such as depression, mind problems, neurological disorder and the unhealthy system.
The employees fail to recognise their actual abilities and they keep on comparing their deficiencies with the qualities of the other employees and hence this is again a factor that makes them feel different.
Disadvantages
The talent is lost by the organisation as that will eventually cater only those employees who are physically fit.
The disregard shown among the employees who are disabled will eventually showcase the organisation’s ethical and the social scenario (Oliver, 2017).
Lastly the community will not serve to the organisation and this will also reduce the goodwill of the firm and the organisation.
Further the organisation does not support the society and the society in return will definitely disregard the organisation or the company in the same manner, which is ultimately a loss in the market share to the firm.
