Conducting a community assessment is more complicated and challenging in practice than it appears on paper or in theory. A community assessment provides a baseline measure of a variety of conditions and resources. This baseline is helpful in determining the impact of appropriate intervention. A community assessment is essential to ensure that, based on the community context, the right intervention is implemented to maximize the benefit to the community.

Based on the weekly readings and a review of one of the case studies of community assessments provided, identify two factors or issues and two accompanying solutions that posed a challenge in the application of EBPH to conducting a community assessment.
