Evidence has been revealed that a young couple has been sexting frequently over the past fourteen months. The behaviors were discovered after the younger adolescent showed a recently received photo to a longtime close friend while they were alone in the locker room. The friend’s parents later overheard the two friends quietly talking about it briefly. The couple, a quiet 17 year old who recently graduated from high school, and an outgoing 14 year old who is a popular freshman athlete, claims to be in a stable, loving relationship. The parents of each adolescent are well-educated, highly respected community members who have high expectations for their child’s education and career. Both sets of parents are outraged and are very antagonistic toward the other adolescent’s parent.
