This could be a change that occurred in your community, your organization, in politics, etc. Give specific examples to explain each step of Kotter’s 8-step change process.

If you have trouble coming up with your own idea for this paper, another option for this assignment is to watch the movie “42.” In the movie, Brooklyn Dodges Executive, Branch Rickey, signs the first African American player Jackie Robinson to play in Major League Baseball. Together they lead the team and the nation through changing Major League Baseball’s color barrier. Explain how Branch Rickey and Jackie Robinson both facilitated this change by using Kotter’s eight steps of change management.
