Culture can mean many different things, and you shouldn’t restrict your approach to your ethnicity or familial experiences. Consider your culture to include those things, but also the traditions you participate in, the art—music, film, etc.—you consume, the generation of which you’re a member, and anything else you identify with as something integral to who you are. The research required for this essay will focus on the elements of your culture you choose to discuss, and you’ll discuss how those elements relate to you and your cultural identity.
