It is essential that the students consider the learning activity as meaningful. It will ensure students full involvement. The students have a set mind. But, if the students think, the activity is not satisfactory and is boring, then they will disengage.
To make the activities more meaningful and fun, you can engage the students personally in it. They can share their experiences or quote examples. iv. Motivate Collaborative Learning
Collaborative learning is a powerful method to develop students learning. Collaboration helps the students to build a sense of unity. When students work together, their engagement towards the activity increases. It is due to a sense of connection which the students develop when they work together.
To make this group work more productive, you need to implement the learning strategies. Being a teacher, you also need to make sure that students know how to behave and communicate.
v. Develop positive teacher-student Relationships
The teacher-student relationship is crucial when it comes down to students learning. You need to take care that, the activity is promoting a healthy relationship between you and the students.
When students develop a close relationship with their teachers, they can learn with more concern. They also learn to build a connection with others and thus, a sense of belonging to the society. This relationship between teacher and student can be enhanced by:
- Caring about the students’ emotional and social needs.
- Talking one-on-one with the students
- Avoiding promise-breaking
- Treating all students fairly

vi. Promote the concept of Mastery Orientation
When students pursue an activity because they want to understand and learn it that is mastery orientations. So, mastery orientations should come up more rather than just performance orientations. What is performance orientations? Well, when the students run behind getting good grades, just to look good in front of their parents or friends, that is, performance orientations.
If you want Students to develop a mindset of mastery orientations, then you need to consider different approaches. You need to focus more on the inputs rather than the outputs.
