PowerPoint Presentation
Present your research and contributions to the team report via an individual
Kaltura recording.
As a tie-in component of the Team Analytical Report, each team member will construct a slideshow, then will use Kaltura to record a presentation of his or her research. The presentation is an opportunity to show your instructor what you have discovered about the topic at this point and to showcase what you have contributed to the team.It is understood that the research may change slightly from the Week 6 presentation to the Week 7 Final Report. Be sure to review the requirements for each part as well as the Individual Presentation Rubric for specific grading criteria.
Part I: Slideshow
Develop a slideshow using software of your choice providing an overview of your research for the group's report.
Options for slideshow presentation software include but are not restricted to the following: Microsoft Powerpoint,
Canva, Emaze, Prezi, Microsoft Sway, Keynote (Mac). These are free to use (with some restrictions) and most will require you to create a free account. These are all accessed outside the Blackboard platform.
Requirements:
• The slideshow should include a brief introduction and conclusion, introducing yourself with first and last name at the start of the slideshow.
• If you created one or more of the original visuals for the report, include these in your slideshow. If you did not create the report visuals, do NOT include them.
• Only what you personally have contributed to the team report should be included. You may use graphics (clip art,royalty-free images, graphs, tables, etc.); these can be original OR taken from research as long as you are not using copyright protected images and your sources are properly cited. If you want to show an existing document of some kind from the Internet, link to it and take us to that page.
• Make sure to cite sources of research (if you quote or use source materials); an in-text citation is fine; include a reference slide at the end.
• The content of the project should mainly focus on your topic for the Collected Data section. Please do not copy and paste your paper into a slideshow.
• Your slideshow needs to utilize textbook guidelines found in Chapter 12 for design and aesthetics.
