• A Digital Object Identifier or DOI is an assigned number which helps to connect a content to the location on the internet. Hence it is obligatory that if one is provided then it should be used while a citation is created. All the number of DOI begin with 10 which are separated by a slash.

• Note: In APA style of referencing, it is not required to include the date of access or the retrieval date or any information of the database for the electronic sources.
• In case the DOI is not assigned and the references were retrieved online then one can use the URL of the journal homepage.
