Using what you learned from the syllabus about the project and some of the example Story Maps you reviewed, come up with a draft concept for your personal Place Project Story Map and do some really quick preliminary research (can use google, google scholar, OSU library, et,). You might still change your mind about the place as we work more on the project, but it will be of benefit to you to settle on an idea early so you’ll have enough time to complete the project and create a beautiful product.
Do a short write up of your idea addressing the following questions:
• Which place are you interested in exploring through your Place Project Story Map? • What is the special meaning of that place to you? Why do you think it will be fun to learn more about it? • What are interesting aspects of that place that you might research? • What, an example of something interesting you learned about the place in your preliminary research?
Requirements:
• 300 – SOO word limit • Cite at least one source (find a website or other reference that gives you information about your place) • Submit a word doe or PDF to Canvas by the due date listed. • Bring the file you submit to class (can be printed or electronic)
