What Impact does Gender have on Correctional Facilities?

In this research paper, I intend to find out about the gender differences precisely when it comes to the treatment of misconduct or when it comes to the application for a job by females in the correctional facilities. After a thorough evaluation, the expected outcome of the research question is to identify to what extreme the females have to go to, in order to get a better and fair system when it comes to the correctional facilities.

At some point, the information will be used to identify the glitches that are gender biased against the favor of the women who are in these correctional facilities. Moreover, in this research, I will also focus on the discrimination that females face either when applying for job ranks in the correctional facilities and focus on the type of treatment that the women in correctional facilities face when compared to their male counterparts. This topic is relevant to the study since most of the women living in the US have had their worst experiences when it came to the application of a job post in the correctional facilities which was the case with Dianne Rawlinson, a woman who had applied for a contact position at the Alabama Board of Corrections.

Using the present results, the researchers also aim to identify all the practices and reforms that have to be made for there to be a fairer system that would help to deal with young female offenders. To my research, this information would help in the provision of information about how young female offenders are handled while in the juvenile justice system.

The central argument in this paper is about the eating habits that are present in the female correctional facilities. Normally, when someone is taken to a correctional facility, they are expected to reduce in weight. However, in most of the correctional facilities, this is becoming an issue where women are eating without working out as their male counterpart does in the correctional facilities. These patterns have become alarming after hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases emerge in this correctional facilities. In my research, this paper will be of great importance since it will help me identify the possible contributors that have led to change in the eating patterns. This information will also be helpful when it comes to answering the hypothetical question above about the impact of gender in correctional facilities.
