First sentence criteria:
1. The first sentence must be a complete sentence.
2. It should be a statement, not a question.
3. It should state an opinion, not a fact or a feeling.
4. It should make only one statement.
5. It should be general enough so that you can write more about it.
Criteria for sentences A, B and C:
1. Each of these three sentences should be about all of Sentence I, not just about some part of it.
2. None of these three sentences should repeat Sentence I or use different words to say exactly the same thing on the same level of generality.
3. Each of these three sentences should be more specific than Sentence I while covering neither more nor less than Sentence I covers.
4. Each of these three sentences should be a complete sentence.
5. Each of these three sentences should be a declarative sentence.
6. Although each of these three sentences should be more specific than Sentence I, each of them should also be general enough that more can be written about it.
7. Each of these three sentences should also be a statement of opinion, although that opinion will be more specifically defined and closer to a statement of fact than the opinion stated in Sentence I.
