Emergency response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans
Directions from the Professor:
A 10 page minimum scholarly research paper comparing the emergency response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and the terrorist attack in San Bernardino on December 2, 2015. The paper should provide an overview of the events.
I expect this to take up about 2 pages (+/-) for each event. This should be followed by an analysis of the response of the emergency services. I believe 2 pages should be enough to cover the response for each event. Finally, a 2 page review of the positives and negatives of the responses in each case.
Instructions: I am looking for 5 to 8 resources, in the last 10 years. Hurricane Katrina is a 2005 event but the detailed analysis will be within the 10 year mark. When you are considering resources I would like to see articles written about each of these events. I do not want just internet sites. Wikipedia is not considered a scholarly source. Use APA 6th edition formatting including in-text citations.
If you are quoting or referencing an article that has no page numbers, use the appropriate page of the work. So a five page piece that has no page marking and you use a quote from the 3rd page, you would note page 3.
