In pairs, you have to write a newspaper article based on the short story An Act of Vengeance by Rosemund J. Handler from 2005. It is your job as journalists to write the cover story of the rape and burglary of Mrs. Bester (Madam). You can choose to focus on the story as a simple news report, as a cover story of the “new” South Africa, to focus on the story from a “white” perspective, a “black” perspective or an “objective” perspective. That will be your choice. You can put more things to the story such as background info, descriptions etc., which we do not necessarily know anything about from the short story itself. But try to stay ON TRACK!
