• Choose a culture that you find of interest (make sure you understand what a culture is).
• Identify a particular problem within the culture and its current impacts on the people you have chosen.
• Describe a relief agency (Institution, NGO, or Government Agency) and define the proposed project(s) the relief agency will conduct to help solve the problem.

What are some of the ethical concerns that may arise?

What previous anthropological work has been conducted in the field concerning your particular culture’s problem?

How does this previous work or research influence current projects?

 

You cannot use previous experiences or your own culture for your cultural group of interest!

 

Include at least 2 references. Sources can include books, peer-reviewed journal articles, reputable newspapers (New York Times, LA Times to name two), and magazine articles.  NO blogs, websites or Wikipedia as sources for this paper.
