BIOL 100 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSIGNMENT (10 points)
Your assignment is going to be about any topic relevant to the course. You will need to discuss its relevance and importance in biology and life. While reading your textbook is assumed, reading and using references (not less than two and not more than three) other than your textbook is highly encouraged and a must.

The format of your one page report should be as follows:

A. Introduction: You should write a short paragraph about the topic you chose and why (2.5 points).

B. Description of the topic: Write about the relevance and importance of the topic principle (5 point).

C. Conclusion: (one paragraph not to exceed 1/4 page): You should provide your concluding remarks and your own thoughts in this section (2 points).

D. Reference: Include the source of the information you used to write your report (1 point).

E. You should write your name, student ID number as well as the section you belong to at the top of your report. In addition, you should be written using Arial Font (size: 12) with single space.
