CALL FOR PROPOSAL (CFP)

The University of Dubai is driven by its vision to be a world-class institution in education, research and innovation for the betterment and prosperity of the people in the region. Based on this vision, the University of Dubai is operating to achieve the following missions:

• Serve the educational needs of diverse undergraduates, postgraduates and professionals.
• Produce high calibre graduates.
• Provide education based on international standards.
• Provide a stimulating educational environment to prepare future leaders.
• Engage faculty in pure and applied research focused mainly on the economic development of Middle East & Africa (MEA) Region.

In order to achieve its mission to provide a stimulating educational environment to prepare future leaders, the University of Dubai has formulated a strategic pillar that focuses on:

• Innovation – in the content and delivery of education through professional awards besides an academic degree, in faculty research and technology implementation.

Recently, the University of Dubai has called for a proposal to IT consulting firms in Dubai to suggest IT solutions to achieve its strategic pillar. Following are the basic IT application requirements outlined by the university:

1. To provide anywhere everywhere online education to its students and outsiders (online professional training).
2. To improve better delivery of services (operations & core business – teaching) to its students, faculty members and researchers.
3. To promote high engagement between the university students, faculty members, staff and alumni.
4. To keep track the student’s progression as a students and after becoming an alumni of the university.

As one of the consulting team who are interested to bid for this project, you are required to provide a call for proposal and submit to the university before 28th November 2018, 5.30PM.
