Assume that you are the author’s colleague or supervisor and that he or she has asked for your help in improving the document to make it clearer, concise, complete and correct and help ready it for publication.
Write a memo to this colleague evaluating the writing strengths and weaknesses of the document. Offer your colleague constructive, helpful advice on what specifically should be done during the revision and editing process to strengthen format and content to prepare it for publication.
Be sure to explain why these changes should be made and how they will improve the quality of the document. Ensure that the document’s audience understands the writer’s message, is effectively persuaded or clearly informed, and is motivated by the presentation of ideas.
Use the 6th edition APA citation format to credit any use of source information used to support your statements about these writing issues.
Your memo should be between 600 – 750 words in length.
