1. The paper should be at least 5 pages in length, not counting Appendices for footnotes, exhibits, charts, and graphs.

Paper #2 Leadership Styles

Undertake a current events research to better understand how employee/managerial issues such as: motivation, leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making and see how these areas are different based on the industry/project/task of your choice. Do exploratory research to ascertain that sufficient materials are available for a given industry/sector. Select at least current 3 articles and seek answers to answer the following questions:

a) How to motivate employees? What works?

b) How to lead employees. How are effective leadership behaviors/styles different based on organizational structure?

c) What should your manager know about effectively communicating in that culture (both socioeconomic and organizational)?

d) Are there negotiation strategies that works? What would you recommend?

e) How should manager make decisions in the new environment? What is expected? What works? What doesn’t?
